After supporting Illcamile and Damani's(Harriett) self-titled album as a contributing producer and providing the original score for the short film, "Seeping Blue"(Director Deja Gordon), Sir Jon Lee is back in his comfort zone with this Electronic/Punk inspired ballad of disruption. He sounds more confident than ever as his voice cuts through the heavily distorted bass and a devilishly dreamy and infectious melody. Sir Jon takes a minimalistic approach to production, to give the song a more cinematic and colorful feel, with a futuristic dystopian tone. These ideas merge perfectly to subtly commentate on greed the hypocrisy of religious capitalism and sets the tone for his forthcoming project, "Stained Glass". With the spirit of defiance, "Faux Profit" is intrepid and disruptive.
